How far does AMPT travel for weddings?

AMPT covers Wollongong and the wider Illawarra as standard, and regularly travels to the South Coast, Southern Highlands and Sydney. Travel beyond the Illawarra is quoted per venue.

Can we choose the music for our wedding?

Yes. Every wedding includes a planning session where you set must-plays, do-not-plays and the mood for each part of the night. Custom edits and mashups can be created for your first dance or entrance.

Do you act as MC as well as DJ?

Yes. MC hosting can be added to any package, covering introductions, speeches, cake cutting and the run sheet so your night stays on time.

How far in advance should we book?

Peak Saturdays from October to March book out earliest, often 12 to 18 months ahead. Get in touch with your date and venue to check availability.

A woodland marquee wedding that moved from live music to a full dance floor.

Helen and Penny celebrated at a private Bargo property, where the ceremony, dinner and dancing all unfolded beneath a marquee surrounded by bushland. AMPT worked within the space alongside the live musicians, providing a clean booth presentation, sound and lighting that carried the celebration from daylight into the night.

The natural setting and floral details gave the day an intimate character. As the formalities finished, the AMPT lighting reshaped the same marquee into a colourful party space and brought guests of every generation onto the floor.
