What you can learn

Real skills, at your pace.

Sessions can cover music structure, library preparation, hot cues, loops, beatgrids, beatmatching by ear, EQ, filters, effects, transitions and recording a complete set.

Software guidance can include Rekordbox, Serato and Engine DJ. You can learn on AMPT Australia’s Pioneer CDJ-3000s and DJM-A9 setup, a Denon Prime Go, or suitable equipment of your own.

Where are lessons held?

Lessons are taught in Tarrawanna, NSW. Mobile options may be available with a travel fee.

Can I learn on my own equipment?

Yes. Lessons can use your suitable setup or AMPT Australia’s equipment.

Which software can we cover?

Rekordbox, Serato and Engine DJ can be covered depending on your setup and goals.

Are lessons only for future professional DJs?

No. Lessons can suit professional goals, creative development or simply enjoying music in a new way.
